الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur

“All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.”

Morning Remembrance - Sayyidul Istighfar

Morning after Fajr prayer

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta

“O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.”

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim

“In the name of Allah with whose name nothing can harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”

Evening after Maghrib prayer

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir

“We have reached the evening and at this very time the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.”

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih. Ya'lamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum. Wa la yuhituna bishay'in min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'. Wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal-ard. Wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma. Wa Huwal-'Aliyyul-'Adhim

“Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

“The three Quls - Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas. Recite and blow into palms, then wipe over body.”

“I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. O Allah, make me of those who repent and make me of those who purify themselves.”

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin. Wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqalibun

“Allah is the Greatest (3x). Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we were not capable of it. And indeed, to our Lord we will return.”

Allahumma lakal-hamdu anta kasawtanihi, as'aluka min khayrihi wa khayri ma suni'a lah, wa a'udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni'a lah

“O Allah, for You is all praise, You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its goodness and the goodness for which it was made, and I seek refuge with You from its evil and the evil for which it was made.”

“O Allah, just as You have made my external features beautiful, make my character beautiful as well.”

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ

Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi'ilmika, wa astaqdiruka biqudratika, wa as'aluka min fadlikal-'adhim. Fa innaka taqdiru wa la aqdir, wa ta'lamu wa la a'lam, wa anta 'allamul-ghuyub

“O Allah, I seek Your guidance by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, I have none. And You know, I know not. You are the Knower of hidden things.”

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

La ilaha illallahul-'Adhimul-Halim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adhim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbus-samawati wa Rabbul-ardi wa Rabbul-'Arshil-Karim

“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Lord of the magnificent throne. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble throne.”

For Worry and Sorrow

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa dala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.”

When Facing Difficulty

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alul-hazna idha shi'ta sahla

“O Allah, there is no ease except in what You have made easy. And if You wish, You can make what is difficult easy.”

Seeking Forgiveness

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullaha-lladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyumu wa atubu ilayh

“I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him.”

Comprehensive Forgiveness

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

Rabbana dhalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna minal-khasireen

“Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.”

أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ

U'idhukuma bikalimatillahit-tammah, min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah

“I seek protection for you in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye.”

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا

“O Allah, may it be a beneficial rain.”

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ

Subhanal-ladhi yusabbihur-ra'du bihamdihi wal-mala'ikatu min khifatih

“Glory be to Him whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and so do the angels in awe of Him.”

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha, wa khayra ma fiha, wa khayra ma ursilat bih. Wa a'udhu bika min sharriha, wa sharri ma fiha, wa sharri ma ursilat bih

“O Allah, I ask You for its good, the good within it, and the good for which it was sent. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil within it, and the evil for which it was sent.”

لَا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

La ba'sa, tahurun in sha Allah

“No harm, it will be a purification (from sins), if Allah wills.”

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِهِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Allahumma Rabban-nas, adh-hibil-ba's, ishfihi wa antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama

“O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal him, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.”

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ

Allahumma Rabba hadhihid-da'watit-tammah, was-salatil-qa'imah, ati Muhammadanil-wasilata wal-fadilah, wab'athhu maqamam-mahmudan-illadhi wa'adtah

“O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him.”

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ

Allahummah-dini fiman hadayt, wa 'afini fiman 'afayt, wa tawallani fiman tawallayt, wa barik li fima a'tayt, wa qini sharra ma qadayt, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda 'alayk, wa innahu la yadhillu man walayt, tabarakta Rabbana wa ta'alayt

“O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me health among those You have granted health, protect me among those You have protected, bless me in what You have given, protect me from the evil You have decreed. For You decree and none can decree over You. He whom You befriend is not humiliated. Blessed and exalted are You, our Lord.”

“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow. I seek refuge in You from lack of courage and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness. I seek refuge in You from the overpowering of debts and the suppression of people.”

Bismika Rabbi wada'tu janbi wa bika arfa'uhu. In amsakta nafsi faghfir laha, wa in arsaltaha fahfadhha bima tahfadhu bihi 'ibadakas-salihin

“It is in Your name O my Sustainer that I have placed my side [of my body]. It is through Your support that I will raise it. If You hold back my life [cause me to die], then forgive it. If You let it go [cause me to wake up again], then protect it as You protect Your pious servants.”

“I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah. He is one, He has no partner. I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and Messenger. O Allah! Make me of those who repent and make me of the purified. Glory to O Allah! And all praise to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.”

“O Allah! Infuse illumination into my heart, my tongue, my eyes, my ears, to my right, to my left, behind me, and in front of me. Bestow upon me illumination in my muscles, my flesh, my blood, my hair, my skin, and my entire being. O Allah! Give me illumination.”

“O Allah! To You alone is all praise. You alone are the upholder of the heavens and earth and whoever is therein. To You alone is all praise. To You alone is all praise. You are the truth, Your promise is true, meeting You is true, Your word is true, paradise is true, hell is true, the Prophets are true, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is true and resurrection is true.”

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, from the torment of Hell, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).”

“O Allah, the stars have gone down, the eyes have become calm, and You are the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes You. O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, calm my night and put my eyes to sleep.”

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir

“There is no deity except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.”

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ

Allahumma inni asbahtu ush-hiduka wa ush-hidu hamalata 'arshika wa mala'ikataka wa jami'a khalqika annaka Antallahu la ilaha illa Anta wa anna Muhammadan 'abduka wa Rasuluk

“O Allah, I have reached the morning and I call upon You, the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, there is no deity except You, and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger.”
